Michael, with nearly 30 years of solid industry experiencejoined Douglas Elliman in 2004 as Executive Vice-President and Director ofSales; he possesses a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the real estatearena.  Initially starting out at a boutique firm and eventually becominga successful sales agent, Michael was personally taken under Barbara Corcoran'swing to develop his impressive "out of the box" thinking andwildly-imaginative marketing and branding mind, later becoming a ManagingDirector of Corcoran.  His transition to Douglas Elliman began with hisworking closely with CEO Dottie Herman and the executive team on variousprojects including developing and implementing the business and expansion plansfor their Brooklyn division, while maintaining the firm's commitment toexcellence. Michael, originally from Franklin Lakes, NJ, began his lifelonglove affair with real estate at age seven while sitting with his mother in theback of their real estate broker's car. He has since made his mark in the industryas a revered broker and manager, and sought after resource by other agents andthe press alike.

Matthew, known for his professionalism, ethics, patience anddiplomacy, is equally respected among his clients and peers.  In fact, heis often considered as a "friend, advocate and champion" by those whohave benefited from the fruits of his labor.  Since 2002, Matthew hasnavigated clients toward achieving their unique goals by market knowledge,dealing with colleagues, buyers and sellers, and providing premium qualitycustomer service.  He feels that the sale of a client's home, often themost valuable asset, demands the highest level of marketing attention: maximumexposure, refined presentation, and negotiation skill customized to redeem 100%of the home's value. His in-depth knowledge, extensive experience withManhattan co-op and condo boards, and accessibility are compelling attributesthat bring Matthew ongoing repeat business, as well as enthusiasticreferrals.  An Oklahoma native, Matthew reached his ultimate home inManhattan at the age of 24 after several years of living in Houston andLondon.  After studying classical vocal performance at Rice University, hestarred in a string of musical theatre productions.
