Matthew George

Michael Moran and Matthew George merge their unparalleled market knowledge, business savvy, and seasoned industry expertise gained from hundreds of condo and co-op sales, to create a vital force in real estate - one that dramatically raises the bar in service, satisfaction and results. Driven by an unbridled passion for their work, and inspired by an incomparable understanding of their clients' needs, this dynamic, professional team strives to facilitate the most "Exceptional Real Estate Experience" for everyone involved in a Douglas Elliman transaction.

The Moran George Group achieved Platinum Chairman's Circle status at Douglas Elliman during the first year of their partnership, placing them well within the top 1% of sales agents in New York City.

Michael, with 20 years of solid industry experience joined Douglas Elliman, he possesses a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the real estate arena. Initially starting out at a boutique firm and eventually becoming a successful sales agent, Michael was personally taken under Barbara Corcoran's wing to develop his impressive "out of the box" thinking and wildly-imaginative marketing and branding mind, later becoming a Managing Director of Corcoran. His transition to Douglas Elliman began with his working closely with CEO Dottie Herman and the executive team on various projects including developing and implementing the business and expansion plans for their Brooklyn division, while maintaining the firm's commitment to excellence. Michael, originally from Franklin Lakes, NJ, began his lifelong love affair with real estate at age seven while sitting with his mother in the back of their real estate broker's car. He has since made his mark in the industry as a revered broker and manager, and sought after resource by other agents and the press alike.

Matthew, known for his professionalism, ethics, patience and diplomacy, is equally respected among his clients and peers. In fact, he is often considered as a "friend, advocate and champion" by those who have benefited from the fruits of his labor. Since 2002, Matthew has navigated clients toward achieving their unique goals by market knowledge, dealing with colleagues, buyers and sellers, and providing premium quality customer service. He feels that the sale of a client's home, often the most valuable asset, demands the highest level of marketing attention: maximum exposure, refined presentation, and negotiation skill customized to redeem 100% of the home's value. His in-depth knowledge, extensive experience with Manhattan co-op and condo boards, and accessibility are compelling attributes that bring Matthew ongoing repeat business, as well as enthusiastic referrals. An Oklahoma native, Matthew reached his ultimate home in Manhattan at the age of 24 after several years of living in Houston and London. After studying classical vocal performance at Rice University, he starred in a string of musical theatre productions. Today, Matthew infuses every real estate deal with the same energy he brought to the stage.

Trust the team that's revolutionizing the way real estate business is done, and the level of service that's provided. The Moran George Group, the only resource you'll ever need.
